4 Digit IN-12 Nixie Tube Clock This clock started in early may as a Fathers Day present, I had bought a bunch of IN-12 A/B and IN-15 A/B tubes off ebay. They still have not arrived today. I found help from www.neonixie.com, instead of the 6 digit kit I bought the 4 digit kit. The plan is to add a OG3 Dekatron counting tube for the seconds. The OG3 Dekatron counting tube will not be exact with the time but will look neat next to the IN-12 tubes, the best thing about the OG3 Dekatron counting tube is that it is argon filled and gives you a purple color.

This is all the parts for the clock laid out, the OG3 Dekatron counting tube is in the mail and will be added to the right of the clock for a seconds display. This was a Kit bought from www.neonixie.com and was made for IN-17 tubes but with a different resistor you can use the IN-12 A/B tubes.
After finding a good case the hard part was to cut the holes for the tubes. These are not very good but will work. SO that the tubes did not stick out of the case very much I used stand offs to keep them in the case.
This is the kit board all put together, I have not installed the backup cap yet. This will mount to the far left of the case and the OG3 Dekatron counting tube will mount to the right of the case.
The guts.
Up close to the IN-12 A/B tubes, not I didn't do that great of a job on cutting the holes.
The clock during the digit cycling, this helps protect the tubes from cathode poisoning.
