Dan E's Railroad Signal Collection

Dan is a great signal collector. Dan has been collecting signals for years and has quite a signal collection. He owns several of each signals for parts. You will see his collection all packed up because he is moving to Denver Co. This is his collection packed up. I wish I could have gotten to take pictures before he packed up. When he moves hopefully I can get pictures of this collection unpacked. Thanks Dan for the insite to your collection!

The neat thing about the N&W CPL is that it doesn't use the yellow aspects, but colored ones.

This is Dan's collection of smaller masts. The larger ones are located in the yard.

Dan has two sets of crossing flashers in his collection. This set is missing the door that covers the wire block. Since its missing a part and he has a complete set, he is letting me take these.

A few years ago Pat and I brought up Dan a bunch of signals. This mast had several Union Switch and Signal Co. type R-2 signal heads.

Dan contacted the scrapper about getting some old B&O cpls and masts. These masts came off a cantilever that was located in _______, Illinois.

We also brought this to Dan a few years ago. Due to its size and weight this will not be going to Denver with Dan.

Dan owns 9 B&O cpls, this is six of the 9. The other 3 cpls where taken apart to make the 6 here all four aspect signals.

This is some of the searchlights in Dans Collection. We Moved all of these searchlight to his storage unit except for the H-5.

These were givin to Dan for donating some signals to a museum. They are made by Chicago Railways Signal Co. I will be getting 2 or 3 of these.

These are the four General Railway Signal Co type VA dwarfs. He has the parts to make them four aspects and and a marker.

This signal cabinet has a mast outside but the pipe is too small. I think Dan is going to mount a N&W signal on it.

This is one of the best signals Dan owns (I think). Its a Dwarf semaphore, the blade is already in the storage unit.

This is a Union Switch and Signal Co. dwarf searchlight. It's neat because it has a fixed marker on top. It's still unknown what the top marker was.....
